Courage is not without fear, rather, courage is ignoring fear and getting on with it anyway.
I think being courageous as such depends heavily on the circumstances - perhaps I would be courageous if I were saving the life of my brother but perhaps not so much if I were jumping out of a plane or the like.
Courage is also relative - something incredibly courageous for me could be something completely normal for other people. For example, it would take much for courage for me, not an astronaut, to go into space, than for an astronaut to do the same thing.
