The base of a triangle is 12 inches greater than the height. If the area is 80 square inches, find the length of the base

Explanation:

Because the area of a triangle you have to divide by 2 and then you get the area right so we multiply 80 x 2 = 160 is the area of the square which you divide by 2 but we are not going to do that. now we have to get 2 lengths with 12 difference so we have to just do trial and error method.
