Step-by-step explanation:

Glue the two right triangles together to form one larger triangle.

The angle adjacent to the 60 degree angle is 180-60 = 120 degrees.

The angle adjacent to x is 180-x

The larger triangle has the interior angles of:

  • 35
  • 120
  • 180-x

Those three angles add to 180 (which is true of any triangle)

35+120+180-x = 180

335-x = 180

-x = 180-335

-x = -155
