Abby finds herself less willing to go out. She used to belong to a few school clubs but that got overwhelming. Now she prefers to stay home in comfy pants and watch videos online. It's not like she got in a fight with her friends. Going out just started to feel like a lot of work. Since she could do more if she wanted to, she does not think that this is really a problem. What is the BEST advice for Abby?

OA. People can change, so this is not a big deal.
OB. This is a change worth talking to a doctor about.
OC If she is satisfied with a more limited life, it is fine.
OD. The issue is probably with her friends if they are exháusting.

Answer: B. This is a change worth talking to a doctor about.

Step-by-step explanation:

Finding previously enjoyable activities to be difficult or a lot of work is a sign of clinical depression. Isolation from school activities, hobbies, and friends is common in those with diagnosed depression, and those who have depression tend to have the thought "This isn't a problem because I can do more if I just want to."
