Hi!

Stay positive :)

x= -4

Subtract 2x from both sides
6x−2x=−16

Combine 6x and −2x to get 4x.
4x=−16

Divide both sides by 4.
x= -16/4

Divide −16 by 4 to get −4.
x= -4

Hope this helps!

Have a lovely day (or night) :)
