Cant figure out the two solutions, my answer was wrong so I think my method is solving it isn't right. Can someone help? :'D

x = 133 x = -7

Explanation:

| x/7 - 9| = 10

There are two solutions, one positive and one negative

x/7 - 9 = 10 x/7 - 9 = -10

Add to to each side

x/7 - 9+9 = 10+9 x/7 - 9+9 = -10+9

x/7 = 19 x/7 = -1

Multiply each side by 7

x/7 *7 = 19 *7 x/7*7 = -1*7

x = 133 x = -7
