3 is the greatest common factor, because both numbers are divisible only by 3.

Answer:

The GCF Of 9 and 12 is 3.

Step-by-step explanation: Okay so first lets multiply! 3x1 Is 3 3x2 is 6 and 3x3 is 9, 3 x 4 equals 12! Since they both can be divided by 3, Example 12 divided by 3= 4 9 divided by 3= 3, therefore they have a GCF of 3. Remember, this is the greatest factor, not Multiple.
