Answer:

the numbers are 15, 18, 21

Explanation:

let the 3 consecutive multiples of 3 be:

3x, 3(x+1), 3(x+2)

(2/3)(3x + 3(x+1)) =3(x+2)+1

(2 /3)(6x+ 3) = 3x+6+1

2(2x+1) = 3x + 7

4x + 2 = 3x + 7

x = 5

so:

3x = 15

3(x+1) = 18

3(x+2) = 21

the numbers are 15, 18, 21
