B.

Explanation:

to find the midpoint the formula is

( (x2 + x1)/(2) (y2 + y1)/(2) )

so use the points provided and substitute them in to the formula!!

  • (-4,-7) = (x1, y1)
  • (5,6) = (x2, y2)

so now it would look like this inside the formula

and then you'll just solve that !!

(5 + ( - 4))/(2) = (1)/(2) = 0.5

so we know x = 0.5 now, solve for y

(6 + ( - 7))/(2) = ( - 1)/(2) = - 0.5

and we now know y = -0.5

point form (x,y) and you're all done !!

and this is why the answer is B. (0.5, -0.5)

It’s b because when you add the x’s together you get 1 and then you divide it by 2 to get 0.5 as the x value. To find the y-value you add the y- vaulted together to make -1 and then divide it by 2 to get -0.5. Making the answer being (0.5,-0.5)
