Answer:
When my family and I were visiting Denver, Colorado we decided to go to the family cabin. The cabin was far up into the mountains and had bee hand-built by my great-grandfather. The air was crisp and fresh, and we were surrounded by mountains and trees. When we arrived, we spent some time playing and exploring the area surrounding the cabin. As we were walking a path, I saw something glinting on the ground. Upon closer inspection, I discovered it was a large chunk of smoky quartz. It was super exciting to have been able to find a natural treasure like that! We continued to follow the path down to a stream. As we walked silently enjoying the views, we listened to the chorus of birds and the bubbling of the nearing stream. It was quite calming and peaceful. When we arrived at the stream we paused to take pictures. The water was crystal clear, and it was amazing to see all the fish, we even saw snails and a snake! As we were looping back to the cabin, we passed a field of flowers. The floral aroma was surprisingly sweet, so we took some flowers to put in the cabin.
The trip to the cabin was an amazing experience to spend time in nature, one that I will never forget.
