In an office building, 42 offices are currently being rented. This represents 40% of the total units. How many offices are in the building?

Answer:As per problem, 60% units constitute 72 offices. Let total number of units be x.

Hence, 0.6x = 72

or, x = 72/0.6 = 720/6 = 120
