Explanation:

All you have to do is divide both sides by 3. When dividing decimals it's sometimes easier to change it to a fractions like so:
x=(1)/(2) /(3)/(1) to divide fractions you multiply the reciprocal like this:
x=(1)/(2) * (1)/(3) to get
x=(1)/(6)
