Calvin kicked a soccer ball laying on the ground. It was in the air for 5 seconds before it hit the ground. While the soccer ball was in the air it reached a height of approximately 25 feet. Assuming that the soccer ball’s height (in feet) is a function of time (in seconds), what is the range in the context of this problem?

This refers to the y-axis values. That is the values of the dependent variable

If we are to plot the graph, we will have the time on the x-axis while the amount of time spent in air would be on the y-axis

The base height is from the ground which is marked 0 feet to a maximum height of 25 feet

So the range in the context of this problem is 0-25 feet
