I saw a little girl far from the sidewalk hiding behind a rusty refrigerator in the middle of a cold snowy day in Cleveland. I decided to move to get a closer look. She took out a spoon and start digging the hard soil. She did 1 after the other 6 holes in total. She then started thinking. She looked sad but no tears were coming. She then planted lima beans in each hole. She then had a thermos filled with water and watered all the beans. She then started to mumble something, but I couldn't make out the words. She then quickly left. After, she returned in a nice sunny day in Cleveland. She went to the her beans which now sprouted. She was ecstatic. She started thinking again. I then heard her say few words. "See Dad I told you I could be a farmer," these word sent down a chill on my spine, but then the little girl left again. Maybe I will see her again when the beans fully grow.

She took out a spoon and began to dig. The snow had melted, but the ground was hard. After much work, she finished one hole, then a second, then a third. I watched her plant the seeds in the hole and wondered what she was thinking about. By the look on her face, I could tell she was thinking about something.
