Was Brutus a patriot or a trailer? Explain why you have answered the way you did. Is loyalty/allegiance to one’s personal matters or to their country more important? Explain why you answered the way you did. How can a person stay loyal to both or find compromise?

Brutus was a patriot due to his unwavering loyalty to Rome and his determination to act on what he defined as what was best for Rome, as seen when he is described as the "noblest Roman of them all (Shakespeare)." Some may say that Brutus was a betrayer as he killed the leader of Rome, Julius Caesar.
