Answer:

There are so many external factors that affect a person when buying something. These include: peer pressure from friends, the environment where the person is living and the religion of the person.

Step-by-step explanation:

When a person buys something, there are actually many things that affects his decision.

For example, when a person's friends sport the latest iPhone, it pushes the person to buy an iPhone too and not just any type of phone because he wanted to fit in.

Another example, a person buys an expensive car because all of his neighbors buy luxurious cars. This affects his decision when it comes to choosing the brand of car.

Lastly, a person may buy a particular thing because of religion. For example, if a person is a conservative Christian or religious person, she may choose conservative clothes because for her, it is a sign of modesty and it's what she wears inside the church.
