Two angles are supplementary. One angle is 36 degrees bigger than the other. What is the measure of the bigger angle

let the other angle be x degree

bigger angle = x +36°

According to the question,

x+36° + x° = 180°

=> 2x = 180–36

=> x = 144/2

=> x = 72°

Measure of the bigger angle = x + 36

= 72° + 36°

= 108°
