x+y=50,000

y=50,000-x-(1st equation)

Again (x+x X 5%) + (y+y X 3%) = 52,020

-> x+5x/100 + y+3y/100 = 52020

-> 100x+5x+100y+3y =52020

Putting Eq 1 into 2 ,

105x+103 ( 50,000-x)= 52,020
