=2p-6=40/5
Divide 40 by 5 to get 8
= 2p-6=8
Move 6 with 8 then add them you will get 14
=2p=8+6
Divide both sides by 2
=2p=14
=p=14/2
Divide 14 by 2 to get 7
The final answer is
P=7

A. 10p-30=40 would be the answer
First you simply both sides of the equation , add 30 to both sides, and divide both sides by 10. Then p=7
