Well to solve this you want to keep in mind that 2=-2 bc absolute value mean what oh yeah |-2| = 2 so you have to remember that and if you want this to work it would be 7-2=5

Answer:

x=7

Explanation:

Ok so first off, the x variable being in absolute value form will not change the outcome of the problem at all since there are no other x variables in the equation.

x-2=5

(add 2 on both sides)

x=7
