What’s the difference between “favoritos” and “favorita and favorito”? When should you use each one?

favoritos is in plural, use when reffering to many things for example:

Mis animales favoritos son las tortugas y los gatos.

favorita and favorito are in singular, but favorito is in masculine and favorita is in femenine. Here are some examples:

Mi comida favorita es la pizza.

Mi color favorito es el azul.
