I’m in 7th grade and I need help :(((( I don’t understand adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing numbers. Like this is all I know Ik this is for multiply and divide but Ik a negative times negative = positive and positive time’s positive = positive and negative times positive = negative and positive time’s negative = negative but can someone tell me the thing like that but for adding and subtracting please

(- stands for negative and + stands for positive)

Adding

- plus + = - or + depending on the numbers (If you have -7 + 3 it equals -4, but -3 + 7 = 4)

+ plus + = + (Simple)

- plus - = - (Like regular addition, except -2 + -3 would be -5)

Subtraction

- minus + = - (If you have -7 - 3 it equals -10, and -3 - 7 = -10)

- minus - = + (If you have -3 - (-4) = 1)

+ minus + = - or + depending on the numbers ( If you have 8 - 4 it equals 4, but if you subtract 8 from 4, it is -4
