Shakespeare also shows in the story Romeo as being a true love by using religious imagery in Act 1 Scene 5 and in Act 2 Scene 2 as Romeo and Juliet’s conversations are constantly mentioning angels, saints and gods. These images show that their love is pure and innocent and possibly even approved by God.
