A religion is simply a belief in a higher being or a thing of importance. It can be holding a sort of animal above the true importance (such as elevating an eagle to be worshiped as a god), or simply removing the deity and focusing on elevating the human nature to become as true and righteous as possible. such as Hinduism & Buddhism.
