How do you find the quotient of positive and negative decimals.

Answer:

Ok, so we know that you can't simply divide a decimal as it is (if you're using long division)

For example, let's take the quotient of 2.2 and -22

22÷ -2.2

so to get it into a whole number, multiply each value by 10 to get rid of decimal point

220 ÷ -22

when you divide, you are left with negative ten. Remember when you divide a negative and a positive number together, the result will always be negative
