Answer:

y = -4/5x + 3

Explanation:

Chose any two points on the line:

(5, -2)

(-5, 6)

Slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

6 -(-2) / -5 - 5

8 / -10

-4/5

Equation:

y = mx + b

Plug in x and y using any coords and then plug in m (the slope):

-2 = -4/5 * 5 + b

-2 = -20/4 + b

-2 = -5 + b

Add 5 on both sides:

3 = b

Now our equation is:

y = -4/5x + 3

Please let me know if I've done something wrong!
