The GREATER the line the STEEPER the PROPORTIONALITY of X you know you have a constant proportionality when your graph begins at the ORIGIN we can write the equation as y = K x. We find the constant of proportionality by DIVIDING the CONSTANT coordinate by the Y coordinate from an ordered pair.
