One way is to plot some points:

When x = 0, y = 2(0) - 4 = 4 So plot (0,-4).

In a similar way you can plot when x = 1, y = 2(1) - 4 = -2 that is (1, -2).

Also 2(3) - 4 giving the point (3, 2).

Now draw a line passing through these 3 points.

If you cant draw a line through these points then Ive made a mistake in the calculations
