A quadratic equation is a equation that takes the form:
ax^(2) +bx+c^(2) = 0

Ex. Using our definition of quadratic equations,
ax^(2) +bx+c^(2)=0,

We can set a = 2, b = 1, c = 6:


2x^(2) +x+6^(2)=0


2x^(2) +x+36=0

Which can then be solved (if you are trying to solve it) as:


(2x+9)(x-8)=0


x=(9)/(2), 8
