PUSH FACTOR: the negative things that make people want to move to a new country/area (ie CONFLICT, local POVERTY etc)

PULL FACTOR: the country (or area) to which a person migrates, because they are attracted by it. (mostly to do with better living conditions, higher pay on a job etc)
