Answer:

Vol = 294 cubic ft

Explanation:

Vol = l × w × h

But l × w is the area of the base. So another formula for volume is:

Volume =

Base area × height

V = Bh

This also works for any prism(any shaped base), cubes, and cylinders.

Here, V = 42×7

V = 294 ft^3

so this is (base times hight)

(bH)

42=7x

you didvide 7 from both sides

42 divided by 7 is 6

so basically its 6

because that would be your base thats what you are missing

then its just baseically (BH) (7 times 6)= 42
