Explanation:

Perpendicular slopes are "opposite reciprocals."

7/5 goes to 5/7, then -5/7 (if you don't get it you can comment)

So the perpendicular equation line: y = -5/7x + b (you don't know the y-intercept yet)

Substitute (2, -6) because that perpendicular line is going through it.

-6 = -5/7(2) + b

-6 = -10/7 + b

-42/7 = -10/7 + b

-32/7 = b
