Answer: No solutions

The result of an absolute value function is never negative. This is because absolute value represents distance on a number line, and negative distance is not possible. Negative distance doesn't make sense.

So we don't have solutions to something like |x| = -5 or the given equation. The right hand side must be 0 or a positive number if you want to have at least one solution.
