The value of -4 - x is positive. What must be true about x ?

X would have to be negative. It’s gotta be negative because the initial -4 would make any positive answer just simply negative. A negative minus a positive is negative. But if you need a negative minus a negative, the second term turns positive.

Taking all this into account, we know the answer has to be negative. Would -4 work? No because it would equal 0. So this means x is greater than it equal to -5.

x > -4
