Which one of these are not equivalent to each other and which ones are:
3 (x+2), 3x+6, 3 (2x)

Answer:

3(x+2) and 3x+6 are equivalent.

3(2x) is not.

Explanation:

Simplify the expressions first.

1. 3(x+2) becomes 3x+6

2. 3x + 6

3. 3(2x) becomes 6x

The first and second are equivalent to each other.
