There are 62 eggs in a pile on the desk. Each egg comes in a package of 6. 6 eggs

are added to the pile. How many eggs are
there in the pile?

Given parameters:

Number of eggs in a pile on the desk = 62 eggs

Eggs per package = 6

Number of added eggs = 6

Unknown:

Number of eggs in the pile = ?

Solution:

To find the number of eggs in the pile, simply add the original amount of eggs to that which was added;

Number of eggs in pile = (62 + 6)eggs = 68 eggs

Number of eggs there in the pile are 68 eggs
