Explanation:

-2x+y=-7

Take the -2x and put it on the other side of the equation by changing the sign

y=-7+2x

Now put it in y intecpet form by putting the 2x first

y=2x-7

Slope is the number before the x.

so 2

Now knowing that parallel lines always have the same slope the answer is 2
