Answer:

Tausha can make maximum 6 bags that has the same number of candy bars and packs of gum in it.

Number of candy bars in each bag
=3

Number of packs of gum in each bag
=2

Explanation:

Given:

Number of candy bars = 18

Number of packs of gum = 12

To find: the greatest number of bags of treats that Tausha can make if each of the bags has the same number of candy bars and packs of gum in it

and number of candy bars and packs of gum in each bag

Solution:

Take H.C.F of 18 and 12

18=2(3^2)\\12=2^2(3)

So,

H.C.F of 18 and 12 is 2(3) = 6

Therefore,

Tausha can make maximum 6 bags that has the same number of candy bars and packs of gum in it.

Number of candy bars in each bag =
(18)/(6)=3

Number of packs of gum in each bag =
(12)/(6)=2
