Can anyone explain what Literal Equations are? PLZ.

Answer:

So A literal Equation is practically made up of all letters ( also known as variables) So to answer one you have to try an isolate the variable for example * ax + b = c * You want to isolate * x *. You aren't trying to solve for x like you would for any other equation. You then have to do inverse operations. Below I have added a screenshot picture because I have done an example for you so that you can better understand what I'm explaining. I hope this helps you! :)

A linear equation is an equation that consists of one variable

Explanation:

Literal EX:

a = 1/2h(a + b)

ax + b = c

u = ak/b

Linear EX:

5(3a + 8) = 12a

4a = 8

11(3a - 18) = 12a
