Explanation:

By using the formula
A = 2 \pi r h + 2 \pi r^(2) we can just fill in the information with what we know, which is Diameter = 22, Radius = Diameter/2 = 11. The height is 8. So in doing so we get
A = 2\pi (11)(8)+2\pi (11)^(2), which
equals ≈
1313.18573.
