(NEED THIS ANSWER ASAP! FRIEND IN NEED) She says it's ratios.

When Eddie looked out his window at a parking lot, he noticed that for every 3 blue cars in the lot there were 6 red cars. If there were 90 total red and blue cars in the parking lot, how many were ONLY red?

Please also include a full sentence of how you got your answer.

Answer:

60

Explanation:

If the ratio is 3/6 cars (3 = blue, 6 = red) that means that we can simplify it to 1/2. Therefore the amount of red cars is double the amount of blue cars. 30 x 2 = 60, 30 + 60 = 90.

I hope this helps! And good luck!
