In the coordinate plane, the point X (2, 3) is translated to the point x'(5,-2). Under the same translation, the points Y(-1, 1) and Z(5, 5) are translated

to Y' and Z', respectively. What are the coordinates of Y' and Z'?

Answer:

Y'=(2,-4)

Z'=(8,0)

Explanation:

X + T = X'

(2,3) + (T) = (5,-2)

T = (3,-5)

Y' = Y + T = (2,-4)

Z' = Z + T = (8,0)
