y=2x+5

Explanation:

distribute 2 to x and 1, do this by multiplying each.

you should get y-3=2x+2.

then you have to move the -3 from the left to the right. but when you do this you have to change the -3 to a positive 3. then combine 3 and 2.

you then get the answer, y=2x+5.
