Answer:

x=2, y=8 or (2, 8)

Explanation:

y=3x+2

y=7x-6

substitute y=7x-6 into y=3x+2

7x-6=3x+2

4x=8

x=2

then plug 2 into either one

y=7(2)-6

y=8

Check answers

8=3(2) + 2 | correct

8 =7(2)-6 | correct
