The product of slope of line (i) and slope of line (ii) should be equal to -1 (product of slopes of two perpendicular lines = -1)

i.e

Slope of line (i) × 2 = -1

Slope of line (i) =
-(1)/(2)

To find the equation of line (i), we need another point (x,y) on the line.

Slope (m) = change in y ÷ change in x =
(y - -3)/(x - 0) = -(1)/(2)

y =
-(1)/(2) x - 3
