With the silk road cultures and societies mixed. They had opportunities to learn about different cultures and societies outside of their own empires; for example, Buddhism spread, they also traded for jewelry and used different types of currency to gain wealth.

The silk road was in China and about trading. They trade different things like silk, salt, sugar, tea, porcelain, etc. They mostly traded stuff that was only very rare like silk was very rare in the old times and it made people rich.
