Area of shaded region= area of rectangle- area of triangle

Area of rectangle= l×b

=9×3

= 27m²

Area of triangle=
(1)/(2) b×h

=
(1)/(2) ×3×3

=
(9)/(2) ⇒4.5

Area of shaded region= area of rectangle- area of triangle

=27-4.5

=22.5m²
