Answer: False.

The Least Common Multiple of 40 and 10 is 40

Explanation:

The least common Multiple of any two (or more) numbers is the lowest number that they can all be divided into evenly-- no fractions, decimals or remainders.

40/40 =1 40/10= 4

20/40 = 1/2 or 0.05 Not allowed!

Don't confuse LCM with the least common factors.

2 and 5 are common Factors of 10, 20 and 40.
