How do i evaluate 3/7r+5/8s when r=14 and s=8

3/7r + 5/8s

r = 14

s = 8

3/7 x 14 + 5/8 x 8

3/7 x 14 = 6

5/8 x 8 = 5

6 + 5 = 11

ok so it's like the 3/7 and 5/8 are fractions so you just multiply each one by the number their next you which in this case is r and s so it's like you're just multiplying a fraction and a number. does that make since?
