Average price charged :


P=(1.25+0.90+0.75+1.10)/(4)\\\\P=\$1

b)

Total income, T =$ 800×1.25 + 1600×0.90 + 2000×0.75 + 600×1.10

T = $4600 .

Total number of box, n = 800 + 1600 + 2000 + 600 = 5000.

Average price per box,
A=(4600)/(5000)=\$0.92/box .

Hence, this is the required solution.
